I know panels cannot be located in Bathrooms, however, I understand laundry rooms are acceptable. What would be the requirement if this laundry room had a wash tub? What should be the distances from this tub, could it be directly over the tub? can you reference an NEC article on this?

It can't be over the tub because the tub would be in the required work space. See 110.26.

I recently read one of my old books, there was an article suggesting the panel be in the laundry room.
The reason was, the laundry room had the most load. Things have sure changed :D

Todd, the bedroom location will probably be prohibited in the near future unless we can AFI the whole load center. ;)

The definition of a panel will need reviewing. Is it an outlet or not? ;)
