I have a 200 amp Square D panel with 8 spaces. Currently it has an ac circuit, and and 2 subpanel circuits. Can I remove all these circuits and consolidate them into a 200 amp subpanel, which would be fed by a 200 amp breaker on the main panel, and do they make a 200 amp QO breaker for this?

Welcome to the forum.

I don't know whether 200 branch breakers are still available.

Does the main panel have a 200a main breaker and feed-through lugs?

If not, perhaps replace it with a 200 main breaker disconnect.

That last breaker might fit on the busbar, but you're probably going to have a hell of a time bending wire out of the existing panel, and technically it wouldn't be allowed if the breaker isn't shown on the panel label.

Before I sae your last post, I was just going to say no, you can't do it.

that's true. On the panel I think it said the biggest branch circuit allowed was 100 amps.
