I need to size a breaker for a three phase 208v motor . The nameplate info:
HP-10
AMPS-31
HZ-60
Rating-40 amb cont.
Ser. F.-1.15
Code-J
Eff.-89.5 %
P.F.-76
Ok here is what I did. I went to table 430.250 and got 30.8 amps and then table 430.52 and got 250%. Next : 30.8 x 2.50 = 77.
So should I size this breaker at 80 amps or am I totally off base here.
