Bridle Rings vs J-Hooks

Anyone now why it couls cost more to install a 2" J-hook vs bridle ring? May it cost more but the install should be the same in my opinion.
 
I see no reason why the labor is any different although some J hooks have "latches" that need to be closed after the cable is installed.
 
More operations to install the J hook if going in wood. Locate and drill holes (optional depending on fasteners and material) using hook as template, retreive first screw, hold hook up while driving first screw, retrieve and drive 2nd screw.

Bridal ring = drill hole anywhere close to where the ring is supposed to go. You can be holding the drill in one hand and holding the ring in another. Once you have a hole twist the ring in and you're done.
 
I think for most cables a bridle ring provides enough support -- especially for a group of cables heading in the same direction. Plus, the ring is self-closing!
I will admit that as a bridle ring approaches maximum capacity, it takes a little *fnip* to get it in the ring, and this might stress a lesser cable.
