Last winter an excavator digging a footing snapped a run of 1 1/2" rigid conduit that feeds parking lot lights. The operator never informed the owner of the circumstance. Since then the footings have been poured and a patio wall has been built. The lights have to work before the town will grant a CO.
We have located the broken pipe that connects to the light pole and the pipe can be redirected into a surface level fiberglass junction box. The problem comes from the other end which is going to be under 4" of poured concrete flooring. Is there any legal method to salvage the wires coming from the panel. Is the only way to solve this problem would be to run a new conduit from some point that will be accesible.
Thanks,
Fran
