Broken........... how?

Some hotrod with a trencher? Ground shifted? Just a coupler that wasn't glued well and pulled apart?

i would however still light coat pvc glue them on outside and then wrap with Shurtape PW-100.

i dont believe these are approved for burial
you could use this, gluing the clamshell seams (silicone) and pvc glue the ends, and then wrap with Shurtape

It looks better fixed, plus it is the responsible thing to do.

They make split repair kits for conduit.

You could use an expansion joint and it will look just as good from here.

Edit.
I'm slow. Split as above. We throw a couple large wire ties around them to keep them in place

On farms a lot of 2 inch (not listed) thin wall PVC pipe is used over otherwise direct burial rated conductors, this is primarily for rodent protection.

Good repair for such thing is 2.5 inch schedule 40, ripped in two on a table saw and then placed around the damaged section and zip tie, tape or whatever to hold in place long enough to bury again.

To restore a real raceway to approved manner, you need to find something listed for the purpose. If conductors are intact and not going to be removed, then that limits you to something that is at least a two piece component. If conductors are to be removed, expansion coupling is one of easiest things to use for final connection if each end is non movable.

A split cover for conduit where you can't pull the wires out, two couplings filed to fit over the pipe and a repair section if you can.

Coincidentally, I just did a temporary repair last week for a two inch PVC supply with a compression coupling. Unless there is a perfect abutment, you always have an edge inside if you use one on a raceway. And you could have slid a plain coupling on and glued it in place instead.
