Buck and boost transformer help....dental office/ Kodak 9400

OK, so I have a problem and I need to know if a buck and boost transformer will solve the problem...I'm working on a dental office and they have a piece of equipment, It's a mouth cat scan machine, It's like a kodak 9400....On the nameplate, It say's 220/230/240....We have 120V/208V service on the building, I tested my breakers and have 212 Volts coming out.....Now 2 parts to this question, can I run this equipment with the 212V or 208V service or can I use a buck and boost transformer to increase to the correct voltage??? Any help is greatly appreciated, Thank you and god bless

The I would call the manufacturer and see what is the lowest voltage that the machine will work on. On top of that you need to do VD calcs and see what the supply voltage will be at the machine after the wiring is done.

Yes, you can use a buck/boost with a caveat though, does the equipment require a neutral? If it does, you cannot use the buck/boost transformer.
