Im trying to wire a tanning bed (220v, 120a) I have the buck boost xmfr (Dongan 35-y010, .100KVA) I need to buck the house voltage 240 to 220v and im having trouble understanding how to wire this thing. the wiring diagrams are really confusing for me

Are you sure about the model number / kva?

I think the 35-010 is a .75 kva unit.

Anyway I think you want diagram SP-15 at the end of this pdf

220V, 120A is not a tanning bed it is an oven
