BUG rating, store canopy lights

any suggestion how I can calculate , figure out right spacing of outdoor canopy lights at store front that are 6 feet away from property line.?

Any suggestion, what are the good recessed lights. fluorescent or LED, that have good B.U.G rating, for outdoor canopy of a store at a busy , rural street, in los Angeles?

Maybe I have to open IES file provide by manufacturer of the ideal lights. But I do not know have.

Please advise.

I would consult the lighting specialist at your supply house. Or drive by three local convenience stores & take Polaroids of their setup then design from the seat of your pants.
