We have a new building being constructed with steel columns. The building has a LP system but none of the steel is bonded.

is the steel structure of the building required to be connected to a ground rod or grid?

Can someone help me find a reference in the code?

the building's power panel is feeding from an MCC in another building.

If it qualifies an a grounding electrode then you have to use it as one. 250.50, 250.52(A)(2)

If does not, you still have to bond it. 250.104(C)
