Hi, new here please bear with me. Bulldog spilt buss panel. Is there a 2 pole 50 branch CB and a 2 pole 50 made to just feed the lower buss? Or is it the same breaker?
Thanks

Assuming you are talking about the "Pushmatic" line of breakers. I think it is the same breaker, but only thing I ever seen that one may call split bus in that line is two side by side panel sections with a common supply and two main breakers at top of each side by side section. Usually two 100 amp main breakers to come up with a 200 amp panel so to speak. You possibly could have found that they may have typically used a higher interrupting capacity for the main breakers - but I'm guessing that would be more likely today then it was at the time they were making those panels.

Thanks, Yes it is a pushmatic (sorry) but there is only 1 row of breakers down the middle of panel can. 100 amp service and there are only 2 breakers above this one in the panel. Thanks

But it is a main for a second set of bus? If so does the second set connect with a pigtail of conductor or is bus designed to match up to breaker terminal?

Thanks again. Yes it is a main for the lower buss and there are no wires. Not sure if a branch CB has some type of small buss link to connect to lower buss or it takes a totally different style breaker.
