Commercial Customer with this panel that powers sub panel off a 2P 100A breaker on lower right and breaker will not reset. Leaving store shut down as no power to registers and pos system or multiple coolers. System is 120/208Y. Not really familiar with this panel. Internally feed Left side is ph 1 only, Right side is ph 2 and 3
Connecticut Electric claims to be making new breakers for this? Trust the new breaker and get them running or insist on replace whole panel? Right now supply house indicates back order and no time line for a 120/208 3ph panel

Probably could temporarily feed the 100 amp panel off two 20 amp lightly or no loaded breakers, just leave the pos on, no refrigeration until a solution can be done.

You can get replacement breakers. No reason not to and get the registers working again. As far as back order, there should be one sitting on a shelf at a supply house somewhere, they just need to call around.
2 questions come up.
1. No info on panel to indicate KAIC ratings and so far only found 10KA breakers, any reason that not adequate?
2. Only listing found are for120/240V breakers, are the 208Y/120 breakers different on a Pushmatic?

Too bad you were not closer, I'd make you a deal on a NOS Gould ITE Pushmatic P2100. Gives you a idea how long they have been sitting around.

Pushmatics can be a PIA to reset.
Pull out on the handle before pushing it back in. Sometimes a little finesse is involved in getting both sides to switch On/Off at the same time. Slooowly push breaker in until you hear one click, pull out then push in firmly. Repeat as needed.

Any information on these questions particular to Pushmatic? Did Pushmatic make a panel with different AIC rating? And were the 120/240 breaker different structurally different than a 120/208 breaker (how it mounts)?
