Buried junction box for underground conduit?

I just had a service call where an excavator had hit the wires in a conduit feeding a well pump. I am wondering if there is an NEC approved splice kit that would allow me to bury a junction box. I know junction boxes must be accessible, but I am hoping for some kind of a solution like the in-wall splice kit that has been recently NEC approved.
