Can I use greenlee crimps or burndy crimps on burndy dies. I have a ground grid going in and purchased burndy crimps but I have greenlee dies. Any rules on what I can or cannot use

The product standard requires you to use the tooling that is specified by the manufacturer.
From the UL Guide Information for "Wiring Connectors and Soldering Lugs (ZMVV)"
Use of specific tools — A specific tool and die used to assemble a wire connector to a conductor is identified on the connector, or on or within the unit container of the connector. The identification consists of a catalog or type designation, color-coding, die index number, or equivalent means. Color-coding of the crimp barrel is common.

But if it says “840” “1-1/8” “UART29” or something along those lines it shouldn’t matter what manufacturer makes the die
