Burying Rocket posts with cap

Is it ok to bury a rocket post with a cap and 1/2" threaded blank with UF wires in it? Hoping to have it 1-2" below the ground. I'd rather have them flush but wondering if there was a reason why it shouldn't be buried other than maybe never finding it in the future. Home owners don't care, don't want them.

Planning to use waterproof nuts of course. Cannot disconnect as it feeds something else down stream. Also, there's more than 20 of them so dont plan on using burial boxes.

I imagine a "rocket post" is some type of pole for luminaire support?
And if so does it have a hand hole in it that is at least 2" X 4"? Or a hinged base?

What I do for short poles with no handhole is put a PVC 90 in the pole, then run to a handhole enclosure in the ground next to the pole for the splices.

Not sure what a rocket post is? If this is the black post with outlet blanks, and you are using for a splice point, use a DB splice kit imstead

Haha. Rocket posts are these. I plan on using the cap with a 1/2" threaded blank on top for the cap. Need a way to make make the connections safe but keep the loop going through since it does more lights downstream.

Use a handhole with drainage rocks in the base. I use a 9” round handhole my supplier stocks, they’re about $30. I can’t remember the manufacturer. It’s like an irrigation handhole with a lid that says “electric”.
