bus drop cable

These is a bus duct above the drop ceiling in this room, and the bus drop cable are coming off the diconnects feeding the machines below the ceiling. The cable are going though the ceiling tiles. Article 400.8 does not permit (flexible cords) above drop ceiling. If this is wrong, what is the best way to feed the machines from above.
