Been given many different answers on this one, so I figured I would come back to the folks I trust the most... 200,000 square foot addition to an assembly facility.... Thinking of extending an existing 1600A. plug-in bus duct into the new area, but not certain of my limitaions in regard to voltage drop... Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help...

I can't even fathom what kind of answer do you expect without supplying and load and length data. Lay it out, pinpoint your load take-offs, play with diversity and the manufacturer will give you the exact data you need.

You voltage drop is not expected to exceed 2% through your network - bus - and an additional 3% for the branch drops.
