bus-duct working space

Do bus-duct switches have the same requirements for working space as other equipment listed. 30 " wide and 36" deep in front of the equipment is what I say you need, others say not true. Help settle this, thanks.
 
The whole idea of using bus plug breakers is to allow you to make new connections and remove old connections, without first removing power from the bus itself. That counts, in my book, as an activity included in 110.26. Please note, however, that this becomes a bit tricky, when the bus plug breaker is out of reach by a person standing at floor level. I still show the working clearance on the plans, but I realize a person might have to stand on a ladder to gain access.
