Article 368 is unclear to me. Can a busduct that is non-ventilated be above an acustical ceiling? There are no additional breakers at the point where we want to drop the ceiling below it. Is this legal? Thank you
I believe any totally enclosed busway is allowed above ceilings that are not air-handling spaces. However, 368.10(B)(2) prohibits plug-in style busway in environmental air spaces.
