I have an existing 400A 3 phase outdoor panel fed by 600MCM cables. I would like to change the installation by moving the cables to feed a busbar and then feed two 400A panels, one as a combiner panel for a bunch of solar inverters so it is not additional load, it is additional sources. My other option is to leave the cabling as is, and install Easy-Taps to feed the inverter panel.
Who makes a product like this? Would I be better to install a 400A disconnect with double lugs?

I am not completely clear on what you are trying to accomplish, is this a MLO panel board supplied by a feeder? By "moving the cables to feed a busbsar", do you mean something like a bussed gutter? Why not just replace the main lugs with double lugs, or add another set of lugs to the bottom of the buss? Any issues with your buss bar ratings?

A bussed gutter is exactly what I am looking for. I've seen european utilities use something like that for distribution, and of course large distribution boards use them as part of the system, but I am not familiar with a stand alone product.
I may also just add double lugs. Buss bar ratings are fine.
