I just got busted on a job in New Jersey for not using bushings on PVC. This was a topic a few weeks ago. I i had heard about split-bushings or fish paper does anybody know where to find split bushings for four inch PVC or who makes them

Re: Bushings

Yes, you take a regular 4" bushing and cut it with a hack saw to get itr around the previously installed conductors. The fitting does not provide a mechanical function.

Re: Bushings

Crouse Hinds makes a conduit liner. LNR is the product number and I believe LNR10 is for a 4" conduit.

Re: Bushings

Are you sure about that? :)

Re: Bushings

Never understood why you need to install a plastic bushing on a plastic terminal adapter (PVC Male connector).
State inspector didn't understand either, that's why we have an exception to bushings on PVC adapters here.
