I have a fuel testing room that is currently intrinsically safe to test fuels. I now have the testing room properly vented with a fan on one side of the room and a lower vent on the door (same size as fan on opposite side) to the outside. I would like to decommission the room as C1D1 room to a standard room so I can put a computer and A/C unit in the room. No fuels are stored in the room just tested. Is there a service that can come out and tests this room for LELs to put on paper that it is safe to have a standard A/C unit and computer installed?

You will need someone to re-evaluate the installation and provide the area classification documentation required by 500.4.
