Hello Members,

What are the different ways to provide controlled 120V receptacles in a commercial office space per the CA Title 24 Section 130.5 ?
And, which is the most cost effective solution ?

Thank you for taking the time & effort to respond to the question.

.
you need to provide an approved method. it needs to match the plans.
interpretive freestyle may work in the olympics, but it craters badly here.

most people, using something like nlight or wattstopper, will use a control
module listed for the purpose, on their system.

probably the easiest way, is to run three conductor cable, and split the plugs
into half controlled, half always on, and use devices with a controlled label on
them.

i have a T 24 acceptance tech certificate, and lighting certs are pretty much all
i do anymore. if you have any questions, shoot me a PM with your phone number,
and we can run thru what you need to do to get the magic certificate. a five minute
conversation is better than 39 emails.
