CA Title 24 parts 2,3 & 6

If you are from CA, you are aware of Title 24. I currently own part 3 which is the CA Electrical Code( basically an expensive 05 NEC).

Are the requirements for A/B switching, motion sensors, fluorescent lights in certain areas ect. found in part 2 (building code) or part 6 (energy code).

I am asking this question because I want to purchase the right one , both if I need too. Part 2 is almost $260.00 and Part 6 is about $40.00.

That would be part 6 you're looking for - and is split up into several sections resi high-rise/low rise - non resi etc.

IMO I would not buy it when you get the cow free - and they will change it soon.... I take them and burn to a disk for those times when my laptop is out of internet range. And you need only DL the lighting portions - no need for heat and envelope stuff???? Unless you have a stamp and do that type of thing....
