Cable Assembly

Hi i have a code question hopefully you can answer
If i have a bx Cable assembly the code allows you to re-identify the white wire to any color.
How about if on the last 10-15 feet i do a change over to Conduit will it still be considered a bx assembly and i can reidentify the white wire or since I changed over a portion of the bx to conduit is it considered a wire in a raceway and it cannot be reidentified?

I suppose this could be up to interpretation, but I would say it is still "part of a cable assembly.". See 200.7(C)(1)

Then you have no way to splice onto a wire of another color.

That is how I would see it and would hope any decent inspector would see it.
