when using tc cable in a cable tray and entering an indoor switchgear enclosure, is a strain relief connector required on the cable? can a chase nipple be used?
Good point, Don. I will have to say that in the TC installs I have seen that has been pretty much totally ignored perhaps thru ignorance as in my part, or by design...plus I imagine connectors for a 500 kmil 3 conductor tray cable are hard to come by.
75% of the CT/switchboard installs I have seen have nothing but an opening in the cabinet.
You would think there would be an exeption, especially for large cables, but I have found none.
