How do you size these cable grips. They will be used on #2 triplex and on #4 triplex.
Also where can you get them online?

Preformed Line Products is one manufacturer, but I've not been in their Albemarle NC plant in over 25 years. Website is preformed.com. I don't see any downloaded catalogs offered. When I was helping them with machinery issues, customers were, I think, exclusively POCOs.

I see Anixter as a distributor, but don't know for which of their many product lines.

Good luck!

Wedge clamps you claim are not suitable have a range of sizes they work on. #2 and #4 typically are both within range of some common wedge clamps out there.

Items like you pictured generally are designed for one size cable only and you must use a different catalog number for #2 then you would use for #4.

Add: I think they often will have a color stripe on them that is a quick way of identifying size - probably same color scheme as connection devices often use - blue is 6 AWG, orange is 4 AWG, red is 2 AWG, yellow is 1/0.

Thanks, I like the idea of color coding.
