Good day sirs.
Is there any code on NEC regarding putting labels along the cable route with an specific interval?
What i found is a requirement on marking ONLY at terminal points.

Regards.

Look at 310.11 Marking

Thank you for the reply.

What i mean is our system labels, tags. Like every 1 meter of the cable length, the contractor put labels like: DB from-to, circuit no, tool name.
The problem is, the quality of their labels are not that good, easily peeled and looks unprofessional doing more harm than good.
The labels you put normally ONLY on cable ends- at termination points.

If this is standard, then I just have to look for a better material. If not, then just omit this process.
I cannot find any clause regarding this on NEC and also on BS7671.

Regards.

The only labeling required in the field would be under 210.5(C) and 215.12(C) for systems with more than one nominal voltage such at 480/277.

It sounds like you are referencing tags installed on circuits during the instalation phase that makes it easier when pulling into panels etc. but it is not required
