Cable Megger Tests

Is it typically a standard industry practice to megger every circuit pulled? Especially for long cable runs?

I wouldn't say it was standard, but some do it.

We would often see this in the spec for large feeders and all medium voltage cables so we would test them. Never found a bad cable.
