Cable Retaining posts for cable ladder in telecommunication room

Does anyone know how should cable retaining posts for a cable ladder in a main telecommunications room should be used? I came across this detail where it says to install them at every 150 mm which seem quite too often.

That does seem awfully close. just a jag less than 6 inches apart.
If the detail is for that building and that job that is where I'd put them. I was always told detail rules.
