Cable Seal for Class 1, Div 2

I am reviewing the specifications for an installation in a class 1 div 2 installation. They are using TC cable which is terminated in a Temperature Transmitter with an explosionproof housing. The manufacturer indicates "Sources of ignition are not present ... conduit seals are not required within 18 inches (457 mm) of the housing". I have been reading NEC 501.15(E)(1) which states "cables entering enclosures that are required to be explosionproof shall be sealed at the point of entrance". I believer the significant work here is required, and therefore a regular GCB rated for Class 1 Div 2 can be used. However most of the information I have read on this issues states that sealing fitting are requried on ALL explosionproof enclosures regardless of the internal configuration. I want to be certain I am meeting both the intent and the letter of the code by using CGB fittings for explosionproof enclosures.

Any help will be appreciated.
