I am trying to calculate the cable size for two 480VAC services that I am feeding from a MCC.
One service is a transformer that is 480V 15KVA three phase service. It has a current load of 18 A, distance is 555 feet, and my calculation has the gauge at 8 AWG 3/C. with a ground.
The other service is a transformer that is 480V 15KVA single phase service. It has a current load of 31 A, and the distance is 525 feet, and my calculation is that it needs a 4 AWG 2/C with a ground.
Are those calculations right? I want to make sure.
