Unless you have some constraints from specifications on a construction project. Some inspector might find a reason you can't do it. I guess if you are running conduit in a barn out in the country nobody will ever know.

The problem with tie wraps, is that sooner or later they rot. I don't care what they say about UV resistant.

What would you tie wrap it to. Another conduit?

We use SS cable ties for outdoor applications - traffic signal cable on span wire. A SS cable tie, would be as good or better than a plastic two hole strap
