At work before I retired I had a very nice T&B cable tie tool, seems like it was $150, and I went through thousands of cable ties
It would be nice to have one at home as I still use cable ties
Ebay and Amazon have a lot of this type for $15-$20. Not sure how well it works
Any comments or recommendations> I could go $50 for one.

I'd take a look at the Amazon reviews.

There is a ratchet wire cutter made by Klein (I think) that is pretty expensive. I found a knock-off on Amazon that works pretty well. Actually I had to buy a 2nd one after the 1st one broke. But the first one lasted 2 years. I could buy 3 or 4 of them for the price of the Kleins.
I said all that to say, I would give the cable tie tool from Amazon a shot. For that price anyway!

And Amazon is very good about returning items. I have a bid in at Ebay on a T&B crimp tool that normally sells for $250 or so
I bid $75. We will know shortly

I found the Klein tool, if I don't get the T&B I will get it. I got a nice Klein compression crimp tool for about $30, I don't think of Klein as being in the cable tie tool business

Looks like the one I bought off Amazon a couple months ago, I really like it.
