392.80(A)(3) is regarding combinations of multiconductor and single conductor cables in cable tray. The general statement says the ampacity of the multiconductor cables (mcc) is per 392.80(A)(1), which is for only mcc's in a tray, and ampacity for the single conductor cables (scc) is per 392.80(A)(2), which is for only scc's in a tray. Then it goes on to say provided conditions of 392.80(A)(3)(1) and (A)(3)(2) apply.
How do you determine ampacity if the (1) condition is not met?
392.80(A)(3)(2) shouldn't matter, because it just reiterates what is already required in 392.22... but it says "...single-conductor cables are installed according to 392.22(B) and 392.22(C) and (D)." There is no 392.22(D). Another one for the errata list.
