I'm a little confused on the bonding requirements for aluminum cable tray. The tray is listed/labelled for use as EGC. The bolted splice connectors joining the tray sections are not labelled. Is a separate bonding jumper required around the bolted splice connectors? If not required, is it recommended? I initially thought "yes", but now think that it may be overkill. All our tray cables have an EGC internal already. What is the norm?
