I am looking at two motor disconnects that have a cable tray wire ran to them. They have a cable tray above the ceiling and when it drops out of the ceiling they installed conduit down the wall and installed a t condulet they did not make a splice in the t they just install a cgb cord connector and ran it straight to the disconnect my question is that up to code. on the top side they install the conduit and strap it to the cable tray and it has a bonding bushing with a ground going back to its source.
