Cable Tray Distance to Conduit Sleeve

Does NEC restrict the distance a cable may be flown from a cable tray to a conduit sleeve?

Looks like I need at least 100 characters to post.
 
The 6' distance is for conductors, not cables. The requirements for cables will be under the article covering the specific cable. What type of cable are you using?
