I am trying to make sure that I am correct in what I read in the code.
I am trying to make sure that I can install individual THHN conductors in cable tray that is steel construction with open top and ladder rack bottom.
when I read Article 392 I believe that It allows me to install 480 volt 3 phase as well as 277 volt feeder and branch circuits using type THHN conductors, as long as I derate and strap/support them as required by this article. I did not see any restrictions to what other types of cables could be installed in the same cable tray except that I think that they have to be the same voltage rating.
I have not worked with this type cable tray before and just want to make sure that I am not missing something.
