Re: Cable tray

Would placing a divider in the tray to separate the pneumatic lines from any electrical conductors make it OK?

By the way, the pneumatic lines can be installed in a tray with Class 1, 2, and 3 conductors, or Chapter 8 conductors - no divider needed.

Sure. I had asked the same question about a week ago. See 725.3 - "Only those sections of Article 300 referenced in this article shall apply to Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 circuits"

So 300.8 - which usually prevents the mixing of electrical with nonelectrical - doesn't apply because it isn't specifically listed anywhere in article 725.

For chapter 8 applications, see 90.3. Same basic principle.
