I’ve been reading about cable tray installations. If cable trays are in sections (as they are at my job leading to rock crusher motors) and therefore trays not mechanically continuous but sections of trays are still required to be electrically continuous/ bonded for industrial installations, then if code requires single conductors to be installed no smaller than 1/0 AWG then would I have to install a minimum 1/0 AWG EGC/ bonding jumper between sections and ignore table 250.122 especially if the table shows a smaller EGC based on the largest breaker supplying largest cable in tray?
