Cable with metal tubing jacket

When servicing lighting in a parking garage I came across what looked like wire pulled in copper tubing. It looked like someone had pulled wire into tubing. I didn't need to open any boxes and since the boxes were old with lots of paint on them I determined they best be left alone. Years latter I saw the same thing run to pole lights. I needed to open the box it started from to do troubleshooting and I noticed there were red white and black wires without a ground and they went through a fitting with a rubber groument with 3 holes that was clearly designed for the wires. So it must be a type of cable I have never seen before. The wires were not THHN and look like the type of wire used in shipboard (marine cable.) Plus 3 conductor shipboard cable always has black white and red wires without a ground, since in metal haul marine wiring the haul is the ground. But I have 15 years experience in marine electric and have never seen this type of cable. Sounds like MI cable. I was having trouble viewing the photos.

Welcome to the Forum.
I searched for pics and that's it. looks like pricey stuff. But it was short and passed through fairly thick steel around a window. They only needed to drill a 3/8 hole. So I guess labor savings made it worth it.
