What is the min. requirement of parameters (ARMOUR, JACKET, HALOGEN-FREE etc.) & IEC specs. for a cable fit for Class 1, Zone 1, laid on the tray?
(No NEC Complied conduits and accessories like seals)

Of course entry in to the Junction box or light fixture will be through a Ex Cable gland :-
Ex e Cableglands for Ex e Junction Box
Ex d cable glands for Ex d Junction Box

This is an extremely broad question, especially since this site is geared to US domestic applications. NEC Article 505 is generally more restrictive with regard to wiring methods, than IEC 60079. The Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), Part II is much better aligned in my opinion.

In the interest of full disclosure, it has been about 9 years since I have been directly involved with an IEC, CENELEC or CEC based project.

Edit Add: I would suggest this site as a more appropriate place to post your question.
