In 1908, a young apprentice at a wire manufacturing company was run over by a taxi cab. When he awoke in the hospital, he had a scar of the cab's tire print over his face and uper body. It looked like a good cable design. This inspired him to develop a new portable cord and cable divivsion and called the product "Cabtire". If this is not correct, then I have no idea!
