I have been using Dolphin Volts Electrical Design Program. With four 250W Fluoresent lights with 220 feet length it calcuates 2#10 and 1 #12 ground with 5% voltage drop.

If I can use #12 ground with 2 number 10's and where is this in the NEC
code? I thought it required #10 ground?

If anyone knows a good Volts online tutorial, please let me know.

Thank you,

I am guessing this is installed on a 20 amp circuit and the wires were increased in sized due to the parameters you entered for the voltage drop. In this case the grounding wire should be a #10 SEE 250.122(B)
