Calculating cabins

If im givin a calculation to figure and have 12 cabins on one feed do I figure them like like multi or single family dwellings..and yes they each have a stove..I was asked to figure it optional method

For supply to any one cabin, you use 220.82 (or 220.83).

For multiple cabins, I would use 220.84... but you should run this as a proposal through your AHJ before doing so. I say this because 220.84 implies it is for three or more dwelling units in the same building.

For two units, I guess you're stuck with 220.82/83 and 220.85

This was a question on a test...I was asked to calculate just the one unit. ..but all 12 where on a single feed...
The "single feed" was in there to potentially throw you off then. If you were only asked to calculate one unit then all you care about is one unit.

You won't necessarily come up with 12 times capacity needed for 12 units on a common feed though as the allowable demand factors change with more units involved.

The demand factors in the optional method only apply to units within the same building.

So you would calculate one cabin as one single family dwelling.
