Hi. I have a 13800 volt delta to 480 volt wye transformer. My question is can I calculate the current on the 13800 volt side by using the current on the 480 volt wye? I have a shark meter set up on the secondary side but nothing on the primary is why i ask. Thanks

Yes, the current on the primary will be related to the ratio of primary to secondary voltage (and transformer losses).

For example, if there were 1000A on the secondary, the expected current on the primary is 1000x(480/13800)=34A minus losses of approximately 1-2%

Its actually plus losses when converting secondary to primary.
