What size main breaker and wire is required for an 800 foot run from the MDC to a subpanel that will feed 4 condensing units? The units have an MCA of 64,64,104, and 201 amps. The MOPD will be 90,90,175 and 300. Should I run smaller wires in parallel?

Total MCA is 433 amps, but you can have lesser conductor ampacity for the feeder. Should need a minimum of 125% of largest motor/compressor plus all other loads at 100%. We need more details to know exactly what those loads all are. MCA of each unit already had 125% of largest compressor included in it.

400 amps is kind of the point where one starts to parallel conductors, and usually because it will cost less than a single larger conductor.
