Would you calculate office partitions receptacles/cubicles from the rules of 220? I thought there was a special calculation for the receptacles of these partitions but apparently not, I Could not find one in the 2008 NEC.
I remember that someone asked me what is the 'maximum' receptacles you can have in the partition. I answered and said it depends on how many circuits are feeding it. Basically a single 20 amp branch circuit can feed a maximum of 13 duplex receptacles (180 va per receptacle yoke).
Then there was a debate on the the 'yoke' issue/definition with a fellow electrician. These receptacles just 'snap' in on these partitions, and some would consider that like a multoutlet assembly found in 2008NEC 220.14(H) and said you can calculate it as such. I disagreed, and said it should be calculated like you would do any receptacles on branch circuits. What is your opinion?? This is a commercial setting.
