Is there any software for doing load calculations which will show the work. I don't trust the ones which only show an answer.

what is your application?

residential - check this web site for free stuff/other links. it may be what you want. remember - this software is not a 100% guarantee that it will work for your application.

I would not trust them either, But if you are going to check the work why not just do it?

Because the software can give you a page that is easier to read. You haven't seen my handwriting.
